The installation is very easy (even for one who has no car electronics knowledge, like me) as long as you purchase the correct wiring harness. The Metra brand wiring harness comes with color coded instructions on the back of the package to mate with the color coded instructions which come with the stereo. So don’t throw out the packaging!The skinny: I installed the VX7020 into a 2001 Toyota Tundra utilizing the factory speakers in the truck and installed a separately purchased backup camera.INSTALLATION (again) was very easy. I've been using it for 2 months here are my thoughts.Pro's:- Cheaper with many functionalities- Easy to install and menus are easy to use- Easy pairingCons:- Has bugs e.g everytime you refresh contact list it downloads and adds on top of existing contracts, now it shows 1.2k contacts in the system where I have 400 or so on my phone. Download most current honda navigation dvd. BEFORE you begin, disconnect the NEGATIVE wire from your vehicle’s battery terminal, this keeps your new stereo safe from wiring mishaps and potentially ruining.

- Nov 23, 2004 Does anyone know of a website that offers the 400ex service manual for download? I just got a 2000 400ex real cheap but it does need a lil bit of work (rings and an issue with the starter) It push starts great but smoke a lil because of the rings. I can do the work without the manual but I would feel better about the job I do if I had the book.
